Free early learning  for 2 year olds

The two year old free early learning entitlment is part of the government's agenda to support and improve outcomes for childre through early access to high quality early provision.  Eligible childre are entitled to recieve up to 15 hours of free, high qulaity early learning and childcare which is 570 hours per year.  Children can take up places the term after their second birthday.  Click here to find out if you are eligible.

 

Free early learning 3 and 4 year olds

Ther Government also gives funding to local councils to provide free, part time early learning for all three and four year olds.  Parents are entitled to 15 hours flexible free early learning for 38 weeks per year. This means that parents have an annual entitlement of 570 hours.  Children can start in ther term following their third birthday untiill they are of school age.
